This costume uses two materials. A ligh, rough-woven fabric, and cream broadcloth. I used the "slit" style for this costume. The sheet is made just a touch short, and features 80 tassles. The breastcollar is a thin strip of the cloth, as the Bedouins usually used, and will probably have around 30 tassels. Please note that each tassle is hand-sewn to the costume through a single bead. The bridle will be a one-ear, in order to show off the horse's face, have a beaded throatlatch, and a single tassel on the ear-peice. The reins will also be loaded with tassels. The rider's pants and shirt are made of cream broadcloth. Then, a sleeveless tunic, made from the woven material, goes over that. It is approximately hip length. The headdress is also made from the cream broadcloth. It goes about halfway down the rider's back... maybe a little longer. It has two layers of different length to accent the "floweyness." The headband for the headdress is made from the pictured material. This costume will look fabulous on any color of horse. If you would be interested in this costume, please let me know. It should sell for around \$600.
I'd like to add that this costume could easily be made reversible. I will happily accent the (cream)underside of the costume and add a matching cream breastcollar for an additional fee, to be determined by cost of materials and labor. I think the cream side would look beautiful with a beaded pattern using wooden beads.

Trim must still be added to the sheet
and around each tassle, but you can get
the general feel for the costume from
these pictures.
